SOLNA, Sweden, Oct. 28, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- NCC Roads has sold its 38-percent holding in Byggbetong i Norrland AB to Swerock, a company owned by PEAB. The divestment will have a marginal impact on NCC's earnings.
Byggbetong i Norrland manufactures ready-mixed concrete and is mainly active in the north of Sweden. The company has about 20 employees and had sales of about SEK 70 million in 2001.
The divestment is a feature of NCC Roads' program to streamline its operations.
