STOCKHOLM, Dec. 18, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- On December 18, 2002, Electrolux (Nasdaq:ELUX) (LSE:ELXB) repurchased 2,100,000 own shares, series- B, at an average price of SEK 137.74. After this transaction, the Company holds 18,022,252 own B-shares, corresponding to 5.3% of the share capital and 4.2% of the voting rights.

The total number of shares in AB Electrolux amounts to 338,712,580.
