LINKOPING, Sweden, Jan. 14, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- SaabTech Systems has received an order for the adaptation, maintenance and further development of the Swedish Air Defence System, StriC. The system is an air surveillance and tactical fighter control datalink connected with the Gripen aircraft and has been in operational use within the Swedish Air Force since 1998. The order is valued at SEK 73 million and covers the first half of 2003. It is an important order since it contributes to the further development of SaabTech Systems' world-leading competence in the area of command and control systems within Air Defence and future network based solutions.
