Who are Mine? A `small, but mighty' book of inspirations

LONDON, February 12, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- For all those "willing to fight for a better world, but do not know what to do," author Winston Osax Omoda introduces his newly released book entitled Who Are Mine? (now available through 1stBooks Library). Omoda describes his book as "inspirational." However, it also possesses a menagerie of other attributes. Moving and insightful, Who Are Mine focuses on the issues of: discrimination, segregation and religion.

Targeted toward working and middle class readers, the book presents an account of social "disunity." Omoda states that his book will motivate readers to sit back, think and ask the following questions: "Who are mine in this world?" and "What can I do to help society?"

Who Are Mine? presents several significant points, focusing on religion, equality, encouragement and inspiration. These aspects include a religious belief that stresses the here and now (which often involves "oppression and depression"), rather than the "here after" (heaven) and a strong conviction that "out of one blood, God made all men to dwell upon the face of the earth."

In addition, Omoda highlights his inspirational message of hope: "be the best of whatever you do," the reality that man "feels honored by the humiliation of...fellow human beings" and encouragement to "be uncommon," while seeking "opportunity, not security."

Unique and entertaining, Omoda's book will appeal to readers who enjoy African American and religious literature, as well as inspirational works.

Omoda was born in Edo State, Nigeria in 1973. He grew up in an "artist family" and later become a sculpture artist himself. In 1998, he left Nigeria and moved to England, where he currently lives, with his girlfriend, in London.
