Please join us for MEDIA DAY, February 14, 2003, at the Riverside County Fair & National Date Festival, the first county fair of the year in California. Hallmark features of the fair include camel races, an abundance of dates and date treats, and a nightly musical pageant with a talented cast of nearly 100 local singers, dancers and actors.
Check-in between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., at the Media Office trailer located at Gate 4 on Arabia Street; fill-out a media attendance form and show your press credential to receive two complimentary admission tickets and your press kit. (Note: The media office is no longer located in the Shalimar Off-Track Betting Facility. It is now in a trailer inside the southeast corner of the Gate 4 parking lot, off of Arabia Street.)
Opening Day Ceremonies begin at 9:45 a.m. at Gate 1 on Highway 111
