STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Feb. 18, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- CashGuard claims in a press release today that Gunnebo has no buying agreement with Ica Ahold. This claim is completely groundless and is rejected by Gunnebo.
In a press release on February 12, Gunnebo communicated that an agreement had been signed with the Ica Ahold Group regarding the purchase of 4,800 complete SafePay-units. This is not a skeleton agreement but a binding agreement between the parties.
"We believe it is very serious that a competitor such as CashGuard releases faulty information on such an important business agreement. Gunnebo's claims have today once again been confirmed by Ica Aholds purchasing manager Bennet Farnstrand in a comment to the news agency Direkt," says Torbjorn Browall, divisional manager Gunnebo Physical Security.
