Nokia at CeBIT 2003


 Nokia, the global leader in mobility, will be unveiling a number of exciting new solutions and innovations for consumers, corporate customers and operators at CeBIT 2003 in Hanover, Germany (March 12-19). At Nokia's booth, Hall 26, stands E68/F72, visitors will witness a wide selection of mobile products and consumer devices, illustrating Nokia's in-depth expertise in designing solutions for optimized user experiences.

The Nokia press conference will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2003 at 14.00 CET at the CeBIT Convention Center in room 1B. The press conference will also be webcast at www.nokia.com/cebit2003. The speaker will be Anssi Vanjoki, Executive Vice President, Nokia Mobile Phones.

During CeBIT 2003, Nokia will provide live demos of a compelling selection of mobile terminals, accessories and network solutions. Among the products shown will be Nokia 3650 imaging phone which incorporates a video recorder for capturing video clips, as well as the RealOne Player for downloading, playing and real-time streaming of video and audio content.
 
Furthermore, Nokia will address topical issues such as mobile entertainment, where the key elements include music and games. As concrete evidence of progress in the field, Nokia will be displaying the Nokia N-Gage game deck, which enables both local and remote multiplayer games, and also contains a digital music player and stereo FM radio, as well as a tri-band mobile phone.
 
The demonstrations will feature technologies based on open standards including EDGE, Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS), Presence, Device Management (SyncML) and Bluetooth(TM). In addition, Nokia will demonstrate the Series 60 Platform and a number of attractive new services that have been created together with innovative application developers.
 
In addition, the range of demonstrations at CeBIT 2003 will encompass state-of-the-art solutions for home communications.
 
CeBIT is the world's largest annual trade show for information and telecommunications technology. Jorma Ollila, Chairman and CEO of Nokia Corporation, will be giving the keynote speech at the CeBIT opening ceremony on March 11.
