Millennium Chemicals Announces Price Increases for Titanium Dioxide Products


RED BANK, N.J., March 17, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Millennium Chemicals (NYSE:MCH) ("Millennium") announced today price increases in North America on the sale of titanium dioxide (TiO2) products for the paper, elastomer and rubber industries.

Effective April 1, 2003, Millennium will increase the price of its Tiona(r) TiO2 for paper, elastomer and rubber by US $0.04 per pound in the United States, and CAN $0.06 in Canada. Products for paper laminate products are not included in this announcement.
