TABY, Sweden, March 26, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Micronic Laser Systems AB (Other OTC:MICLF) (Stockholm:MICR), is at the forefront in semiconductor and display laser pattern generators for the production of photomasks to the world wide electronic industries.
At the Annual General Meeting of Micronic Laser Systems AB on March 25, 2003 the following was decided:
Appropriation of accumulated loss
The AGM resolved in favor of the Board's and CEO's proposal regarding appropriation of accumulated loss, that is that the accumulated loss be carried forward.
Remuneration to the Board of Directors The AGM decided that the Board of Directors' remuneration, totalling 1,275,000 SEK, be distributed between the directors according to the Board's own decision.
Election of Board members
The AGM re-elected Millert Carlsson, Hans Fletcher, Bert Jeppsson, Sven Lofquist, Magnus Ryde, Christer Zetterberg, Lars Ojefors and Goran Malm as members of the Board.
Election of auditor
The AGM re-elected Authorized Public Accountant Anders Ostberg for the period up to the Annual General Meeting in 2007.
Remuneration committee and auditing committee The AGM decided upon assignment to the Board of Directors' to appoint a remuneration committee and auditing committee.
Nomination committee
The AGM decided to appoint a nomination committee, representing the four major shareholders at the end of the year. The representatives will be announced as soon as they have been appointed.
