STOCKHOLM, April 10, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- At WM-data's Annual General Meeting held today, April 15, 2002, it was decided:
- Not to pay a dividend
- To re-elect Borje Ekholm, Jonas Fredriksson, Lisbeth Gustafsson,
Hans Mellstrom, Gundor Rentsch, Lars Wedenborn and Thord Wilkne
as Board members.
- To elect as auditors for the period until the close of the Annual
General Meeting 2007 Anders Wiger (re-election) and Thomas Forslund
(new election) and as deputy auditors Stefan Madeling (re-election)
and Per Hedstrom (new election), all Authorized Public Accountants
from Ernst & Young.
As employee representatives, Gunnel Johansson, Hans Mild and Ove Stromberg were appointed, as well as deputy members Janne Anderson and Navid Zargar.
At the statutory Board meeting following the Annual General Meeting, Thord Wilkne was elected Chairman of the Board, with Borje Ekholm elected Vice Chairman. It was also decided to appoint salary and audit committees.
In his address to the Meeting, President Crister Stjernfelt described market developments in the Nordic countries and stated that fiscal year 2002 continued to be weak, although mainly the Swedish market stabilized somewhat during the latter part of the year. During the past two years, WM-data has carried out an extensive alignment to the prevailing demand and operations are now focused on solutions and services for large companies and organizations within a number of industry segments. Despite a weak market, WM-data has been able to increase its market shares within several areas. The global uncertainty makes it difficult to assess market development in a short-term perspective, but Crister Stjernfelt stated that development in WM-data during the beginning of 2003 is following the established plan and that WM-data is well positioned for a profitable 2003.
