STOCKHOLM, Sweden, May 7, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- PartnerTech and Technology Nexus AB, which develops and supplies secured IT solutions, have today signed an agreement that as of next year will increase annual sales by an estimated SEK 150 million as a result. The agreement involves the development, manufacturing and management of products with high security requirements, for both the Swedish and international market.
Nexus CEO Mikael Jacobsson said, "Cooperation with PartnerTech will give us the opportunity to further integrate our development and manufacturing. At the same time, we will be expanding our customer base and industrial network, while reducing our capital tied-up. With larger volumes both companies will also be able to more efficiently utilize existing resources."
The collaboration will provide both PartnerTech and Nexus with access to greater know-how throughout the value chain, from consulting in an early phase, further on to product development, then serial delivery and finally management. This is a crucial competitive edge when supplying products with high security requirements.
PartnerTech CEO Mikael Jonson added, "We will be working with Nexus to broaden our product offering and customer base. Furthermore, their clearly defined approach to management and knowledge within the security area allows us to offer our customers more complete, competitive support throughout the product life cycle."
Within the framework of the agreement, PartnerTech and Nexus have already begun to collaborate on the manufacture of an advanced instrument for gathering consumption data.
