NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., May 15, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Richard Damion, CEO of International Food Products Group, Inc. (OTCBB:IFPG) announced today that a sales and marketing agreement has been completed with Classic Foods, Inc., of San Francisco, California.
Under the agreement, IFPG will market the gourmet line of Kettle Classics(tm) kettle-style potato chips to club and mass-market chains. Kettle Classics(tm) potato chips are available in a variety of sizes and flavors but have limited distribution to date in retail and clubs.
Florencio Cuetara, President of Classic Foods, Inc., added, "This will allow Classic Foods to significantly increase revenues, yet allow us to focus on our primary institutional markets which continue to expand."
Classic Foods, Inc., was recently selected as a finalist and awarded for "Best Snack Food of the Western Hemisphere" by the Americas Food and Beverage show in Miami in December 2002.
Damion further stated that this well-established and recognized line of superior products, which has proven to be a true consumer favorite brings a significant potential for both increased revenues and profits to IFPG.
