Millennium Chemicals Announces Price Increases in Acetyls Business


HUNT VALLEY, Md., June 17, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Millennium Chemicals (NYSE:MCH) today announced the following price increases for glacial acetic acid effective July 1, 2003:


       USA and Canada:        US$0.02/pound or as contracts permit.

       Mexico, Central
       and South America:     US$50/metric ton or as contracts permit.
