COPENHAGEN, Denmark, Aug. 20, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- CPH: Consolidated profit before tax amounted to DKK232.9 million, which was at the upper end of the forecast and equivalent to 9.4% growth relative to 2002.
The parent company's operating profit was DKK 48.3 million higher than in H1 2002, mainly as a result of increased concession revenue.
Results from the Group's hotel operation were higher than in H1 2002.
Results for Newcastle International Airport for Q2 2003 were DKK 11.6 million better than in Q2 2002, mainly as a result of a restructuring programme.
The company's other international operations performed well relative to the same period last year. Profit before tax for 2003 is expected to be at the upper end of the previously forecast range, DKK 515.0 - 590.0 million.
