NCC has sold a residential property in Umea, Sweden, for SEK 82 million


SOLNA, Sweden, Oct. 07, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- NCC has reached an agreement with Lerstenen regarding the sale of the Nystanet 1 property at Tomtebo in Umea. The sales price of approximately SEK 82 million will have a marginal impact on NCC's earnings for the fourth quarter of 2003.

The property contains 158 residential apartments and was built by NCC during 1996-1997. NCC has subsequently managed the property with the intention of finding an external purchaser. As a result of this transaction, NCC owns no residential properties or commercial properties in Umea.

Lerstenen is a family business that, following this acquisition, will own residential properties in Umea containing a total of 600 apartments.
