LOS ANGELES, Oct. 8, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- E Team, Inc., the proven, market-leading provider of collaborative software for crisis management, today announced the appointment of Victor Subia as Director of Sales Operations, Western Region and Richard Comerford as Director of Training and Exercises. With over 45 years of collective crisis management experience and industry-wide recognition, Subia and Comerford will be instrumental in enhancing E Team's training and exercises program, customer service, and software to ensure they continue to meet ever-changing industry requirements.

Subia has extensive emergency management experience, with expertise in hazardous materials, weapons of mass destruction, counter-terrorism, search and rescue, and command, control, and communications for emergency services. His experience includes positions with the Orange County California Sheriff's Department, the California National Guard, and as Deputy Fire Marshal for Huntington Beach, California. He has taught at the University of Southern California, Johns Hopkins University, and other prestigious institutions throughout the world. He has also served as a security consultant for several Olympic Games. Most recently, he was a Public Safety Consultant for Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC).
Subia will participate in E Team's sales process, providing requirements analysis, training, and product development recommendations.
Comerford brings to E Team over 15 years of training and development experience and is a Certified Emergency Manager. Most recently, he was the Emergency Manager at the City of Orlando where he created a citywide emergency response technology program. Comerford's previous experience includes positions as Chief of Training, Readiness Officer, and Operations Specialist with the Department of the Army. During his 12 years with the Army, he developed emergency plans for federal and state contingencies, training over 3000 employees.
In his new position, Comerford will manage and expand E Team's training and exercises program, helping emergency managers to prepare for and manage all kinds of emergencies.
