WHAT: The eighth annual CDMA Americas Congress commences Monday, Dec. 8, and will feature more than 100 speakers from global wireless technology companies discussing business and technology strategies. Topics ranging from industry forecasts and investment trends to emerging 3G wireless services and technologies will be explored at this year's Americas Congress. The program will also include case studies of revenue-generating applications, CDMA2000(r) 1xEV-DO implementation, 1xEV-DV development, and integration of Wi-Fi with CDMA networks. Leading industry analysts will participate in a discussion about the current wireless economic climate and the evolution of the 3G market. Workshops will address topics including small and rural carriers' needs, deploying location-based services, and designing a 1xEV-DO network. A CIO Forum will focus on enterprise wireless solutions.
