SOLNA, Sweden, March 31, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- The sale of the division is expected to have a positive non-recurring effect on both Scribona's net income and cash flow during the first quarter of 2004.
The parties have agreed not to publish the sales price or other components of the agreement.
Toshiba Document Solutions (TDS) has been a division within the Scribona Brand Alliance business area, serving as general agent and importer for Toshiba TEC's copiers, faxes and printers in the Nordic countries. TDS is also responsible for end-user sales through its own units in the Office Document chain. Total sales for TDS during 2003 amounted to MSEK 650 and the division had 241 employees in the Nordic region. In connection with the sale, Toshiba TEC will take over all affected personnel.
