MAHWAH, N.J., April 27, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Communications Research, Inc. (OTCBB:CRHI) announced the new TeleWriter Corporation has gone live with its new website in advance of the re-release of TeleWriter's audio-graphic collaborative computing software system, as it more aggressively pursues the growing $2 billion collaborative computing market.
TeleWriter-AGS, or Advanced Graphic System, has been instrumental in defining and establishing collaborative computing in the workplace and education over the past 20 years. At its peak, TeleWriter-AGS had approximately a 60% share of the collaborative computing market in the mid-1990's. CRHI acquired the technology and is near completion of the upgrades necessary to make the product operational with virtually all current operating system platforms. The market has exceeded industry expectations over the past few years and currently has well over $2 billion in annual revenues and growing. In a now mature and ever expanding collaborative computing marketplace, the new version of TeleWriter-AGS is poised for release by TeleWriter Corporation to capitalize on its features and price point to significantly recapture a majority of the market share it once held.
The new website with detailed information of its existing and exciting new features on the software's capability can be seen at either www.telewriter-ags.com or www. telewriterags.com. After the new release in late Spring, clients will be able to download a full version for a 30 day trial evaluation from the site and be able to purchase a full license. An upgrade release will also be available to satisfy the many requests and standing orders of existing client base for the new software version.
Carl Ceragno, President of Communications Research and TeleWriter Corporation stated, "This release version will again raise the bar for all collaborative computing software system developers, on performance features and price point. We are prepared to recapture the lead and others follow as they have in the past. This version will positively influence audiographic and collaborative computing worldwide."
