Drilling status - block 43 Yemen

Neheb-1 today reached a depth of approx. 2045 metres. Another 200 metres remain to be drilled under the planned drilling programme. Well logging will subsequently be carried out.

The observed hydrocarbon indications in Neheb-1 are assumed to be related to Qishn sandstone, the geological formation found in Nebrajah-1 and in the reservoirs in the Tasour and Sharyoof fields in blocks 32 and 53, respectively.

Reference is, however, made to the reservations we made in our notice to OSE of 26 February 2004, regarding drawing conclusions based on hydrocarbon indications during drilling.
