(OTCBB:GDVI) focused on the modular building industry with emphasis on the education market, is pleased to report its wholly-owned subsidiary Global Modular, Inc. has secured new contracts to provide specialty modular structures to three different school districts located in Southern California and the Bay Area.
The new orders consist mainly of custom (permanent-type) structures, which are significantly advanced in architectural and construction criteria beyond the typical relocatable classroom designs. All three contracts include approximately 14 buildings to be fabricated at Global's manufacturing plant in Chowchilla, CA. The projects involve extensive site construction work including concrete, excavating, utilities and demolition tasks. One of the projects in Southern California includes a district administration center incorporating a kitchen, nurse station, multiple restrooms, conference center, lobby and staff offices.
