MIAMI, May 4, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- LTU International Airways, one of Germany's leading leisure airlines, will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony in celebration of its inaugural nonstop service from Miami to Munich on May 5th in Concourse E at Miami International Airport. LTU has operated to Miami since 1986 and has expanded its current service of two flights weekly to its hub in Dusseldorf, Germany to include a third flight from Miami to Munich.

In attendance will be Dickie Davis, Miami International Airport Director, along with Kristina Harmon, LTU's Sales Manager for North America, Madeleine Vogelsang, LTU's Product Manager for North America, and Mr. Richard Blakey representing the City of Munich, Germany. The festivities will include a water cannon salute as the plane departs for its transatlantic journey to Germany.
