The ACORD Awards recognize outstanding achievements for standards implementations that highlight business value, business opportunities and trading partners. Blue Frog won two awards in the Shared Service/Infrastructure category -- a Shared Service Award and an Infrastructure Platform Award; an Early Adopter Award, and ACORD Certification.
This year's ACORD Awards were very competitive, with more than 400 submissions and 160 winners. Early Adopter Awards are given to organizations that have implemented in production transactions which have been recently submitted and voted into the ACORD XML standards. Companies receiving Shared Service Awards provide shared services -- business process automation that's centrally installed and accessed by multiple insurance carriers -- and/or an infrastructure platform -- defined as a software product installed and used by a single insurance carrier -- that enhances the utilization or eases implementation of ACORD standards.
