Investors may want to keep an eye on AdZone Research, Inc. (OTCBB:ADZR), Swift Transportation Co. Inc. (Nasdaq:SWFT) and American Multiplexer Corp. (Pink Sheets:AMUT).
Investors may want to swing over and check out a Company called American Multiplexer Corp. (Pink Sheets:AMUT). American Multiplexer announced on Tuesday that it has executed an agreement with Tiger Direct.com to bundle eFotoXpress software with the sales of digital cameras. Under the agreement, Tiger Direct.com will sell eFotoXpress software as an additional accessory whenever it sells a digital camera. Immediately 200 copies of the eFotoXpress software have been shipped to Tiger Direct.com. Additional copies of the eFotoXpress software are expected to be shipped later this week. The bundling of the eFotoXpress software is in addition to the packaged eFotoXpress software that Tiger Direct.com is already currently selling. On the Nasdaq making a move, was Swift Transportation Co. Inc. (Nasdaq:SWFT). Swift announced on Monday that it has repurchased 5.544 million shares of its common stock at a cost of $99.1 million during 2004 as authorized under the $100 million stock repurchase program previously announced on Feb. 11, 2004. In addition, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Jerry Moyes purchased 353,000 shares of the company's common stock during this same period. At its May 20, 2004 meeting, the board of directors authorized the company to repurchase up to $40 million of its common stock beyond the $100 million previously approved. SWFT traded heavy volume Tuesday of 6,516,143 to end at 18.71, up 3.08 (19.71 %).
AdZone Research, Inc. (OTCBB:ADZR), a pioneering Internet surveillance technology solutions provider, announced on Tuesday that it has signed an agreement with a major U. S. federal government entity calling for the supply of data from its NetGet(tm) (patent protected) Internet surveillance technology. AdZone provides tracking and monitoring of targeted information on the Internet, with an expanded focus on global Internet analysis of security-related data transmissions. ADZR traded heavy volume Tuesday of 9,631,819 to end at $.555, up 0.33 (+146.67%).
