LONDON, May 26, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Winners of the second annual Telematics Update Awards were announced last night at a gala dinner (5/26/2004)
The Telematics Update Awards 2004, running alongside the biggest telematics focused conference and exhibition of the year -- Telematics Update Detroit 2004, last night announced winners of each category at its gala dinner.
The Telematics Update Awards program recognizes companies and individuals for their outstanding performance and achievements in categories such as leadership, innovation and true excellence in their field.
After an overwhelming response in nominations for the second international Telematics Awards, the independent panel of judges had the difficult task of narrowing down each category to five finalists, before agreeing on the final winner.
"This is the only telematics focused industry awards," said Louise Clarke, Event Director, Telematics Update, "Telematics Update is proud to recognize the hard work and the innovative solutions that the winners have brought to market".
The Telematics Update Awards 2004 were sponsored by Sony Ericsson and supported by the ComCARE Alliance.
