ATLANTA, June 28, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Optio(r) Software (OTCBB:OPTO) today announced the general availability of the Optio XML Solution Kit, a comprehensive set of output management solutions that provide advanced server, authoring and preprocessing capabilities to meet companies' growing demand for XML-enabled communications across their global supply chains.
The Optio solution includes the new XML Solution Kit and new releases of the company's flagship output management products, Optio e.ComIntegrate(tm) and DesignStudio(tm) that incorporate numerous enhancements to improve the handling and processing of Extensible Markup Language (XML) and Extensible Style Language Transformation (XSLT).
Transforms ERP output into structured XML

The new XML Solution Kit transforms output from enterprise applications into structured, well-formed XML, enabling the rapid adoption of industry-specific XML standards and speeding the design of documents, reports and other output that drive critical business processes. Optio also extends its support for leading Unix and Microsoft platforms to include Linux RedHat Enterprise Server 3.0 platform with this release, as well as ongoing support for SAP RDI (raw data interface) output.
