STOCKHOLM, Sweden, July 1, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Framfab have concluded a deal with management and the receiver of Blue Pier GmbH whereby 14 Blue Pier colleagues in Hamburg will become Framfab Germany employees with effect from 1st July 2004.
In addition to providing continuity of employment for former Blue Pier colleagues, the deal will enable a number of former Blue Pier clients, including Postbank and Audi, to continue to be served out of Hamburg by Framfab Germany. A small number of assets were also taken over as part of the deal.
Steve Callaghan, CEO and President of Framfab AB said, "Framfab's organic growth initiatives are complemented by selective mergers and acquisitions. I include 'group hire' deals like this one to be a component of the Company's M&A strategy -- just like the deal with Icon Medialab in Denmark last year. This deal gives us more scale in Germany and strengthens Framfab's business there. I have spoken with the clients that we intend to continue to serve, all of whom are supportive of the arrangement."
