MALMO, Sweden, July 1, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Telelogic (Stockholm Exchange:TLOG), the leading global provider of solutions for advanced software and systems development, today announced a five year license agreement with a leading US manufacturer of transportation products, to standardize on Telelogic DOORS as their Enterprise Requirements Management solution. The contract worth $1.5 Million, which was signed on June 30, includes licenses and maintenance over a five year period.
The customer has made a strategic decision to roll out DOORS as a global Customer Needs Management Solution. This will help the customer to improve internal processes, collaboration and coordination to get their products to market faster with fewer defects and less cost. Telelogic was chosen because of its market leadership, innovative solution oriented approach as well as present and future planned functionality.
"In many industries, customers have seen an increasing need for tools that keep track of requirements, enable the reuse of existing components and ensure that both deadlines and quality milestones are met throughout the development process," said Anders Lidbeck, president and CEO of Telelogic. "DOORS provides a requirements-driven solution to meet those needs and in combination with its market leading position, it's simply the best requirements management tool on the market."
