The postcard campaign, "Connecting With Our Soldiers," is aimed at reaching America's armed forces with messages. The postcards are available at select retailers nationwide in conjunction with in-store events taking place at these retailers. Retailers include Jewel, Harris Teeter, Stater Brothers, King Soopers, Food 4 Less, Marsh, Lowes Foods, Giant, and K-Mart.
Consumers write their personal message on a postcard that was created by Mass Connections' in-house marketing department. The original artwork boasts the phrase 'Thinking of You' on the front. Consumers mail their pre-addressed postcards to Mass Connections, who will then forward them to the troops abroad. Mail call is typically the most anticipated time of the day for troops abroad, and Mass Connections wants them to know how much America is thinking about them.
