Skanska sells Rosengard Center in Malmo for SEK 315 M, with a gain of SEK 55 M


STOCKHOLM, Sweden, July 16, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Skanska Project Development Sweden is selling the property Landshovdingen 1 (Rosengard Center) in Malmo for SEK 315 M to Erik Selin. The capital gain amounts to SEK 55 M and will be reported in the third quarter of 2004. The buyer gains access of the property on July 16, 2004 when payment will be made.

The property consists of both a municipal office serving local residents and a shopping center. Of floor space totaling 33,000 square meters, some 20,000 square meters is retail space. Rosengard Center has undergone extensive renovation and restoration during recent years.
