BAY CITY, Mich. and TORONTO, July 19, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- UgoMedia Interactive Corp -- (Pink Sheets:UGMI) (name change to Sciax Corporation pending) announced today additional details related to the recent order that the Company received from the French Government for the supply of Sciax Wolf Pack systems used in border security operations.
"The French Government has purchased eight systems in what we believe to be a significant commitment to explore applications for Wolf Pack in border security," stated Ken Smart, President and Founder of Sciax. "We are also excited about the launch of our new range of extendible search pole models with this order."
The Sciax product development team have engineered this new pole design to be highly scalable allowing the introduction of several lengths. The French government will take delivery of a new 30' extended length model that collapses to approximately 45" for storage and transport. "There are several novel features associated with our new design and we are considering patent applications to protect these features where appropriate," stated Ralph Manore, Vice-President of Operations for the Company.
The new pole design further enhances the Wolf Pack system's already superior durability through the use of highly corrosion resistant and corrosion-proof materials, decreasing customer maintenance requirements, particularly in maritime operations where ongoing exposure to salt water can be a serious challenge.
