The Alliance Enterprise Corporation Acquires License Rights For Aerial Land Mine Detectors And Destroyers

SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 3, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Sausalito-based Alliance Enterprise Corporation (Pink Sheets:AETR), a company committed to acquiring leading-edge technologies and innovative products, has announced that it has entered into an agreement with Hystar Aerospace USA Corp. to acquire the exclusive license rights to develop, manufacture and market an aerial system to detect, locate and destroy metal and plastic landmines.

The aerial system includes a revolutionary hybrid aircraft, the HYSTAR LML, which is capable of carrying the sensors, flying vertically backwards, sideways and rotating while flying in any direction or in a hovering position. The unique flight capabilities include flying at extremely slow speeds as well as maintaining an altitude as low as a hovercraft.

Muniz Engineering Inc. of Houston is an award-winning aerospace engineering firm providing high-value services to NASA, the Department of Defense and industry. Muniz Engineering conducted a feasibility study of the aerial delivery portion of the Hystar LML and determined that the aerial vehicle concept is feasible.

Roke Manor Research Limited of the U.K. (a Siemens Company) was commissioned to investigate incorporating the Roke Manor mine detection technologies in the HYSTAR aircraft. Their study concluded that two new mine detection technologies are suitable for incorporating in the HYSTAR aircraft.

Roke Manor Research Limited achieved the "Worldaware Award 2000 for Innovation" for its mine detection technology.

"The aerial vehicle concept and the sensors have been validated and we are pleased to have an opportunity to go forward to assist in resolving the landmine dilemma. We hope to be helping those countries reclaim the land currently made unusable by the placement of landmines," said Charles Sheppard, President of The Alliance Enterprise Corporation.
