Infinity Music Corp. (Pink Sheets:IFMU), ChipMOS TECHNOLOGIES (Bermuda) LTD. (Nasdaq:IMOS), Atmel Corporation (Nasdaq:ATML) and BEA Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:BEAS).
Infinity Records Nashville, a unit of Infinity Music Corp. (Pink Sheets:IFMU), announced Wednesday after the closing bell that it has, "signed a deal to distribute Glenn Cummings' Gulf Coast Records debut album, 'Big,' which is scheduled to be in stores in October. Cummings is currently on a national radio tour to promote the title song from the album --- Infinity Records Nashville is a record label, which is currently signing music stars with established 'big names,' such as multi-platinum-selling country singer Collin Raye." IFMU currently trades at around $1.00 a share.
ChipMOS TECHNOLOGIES (Bermuda) LTD. (Nasdaq:IMOS) reported Wednesday, "unaudited consolidated financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2004. Revenue for the second quarter 2004 was US$128 million or NT$4,323 million, an increase of 86% from US$69 million or NT$2,329 million for the same period in 2003 and an increase of 40% from US$92 million or NT$3,090 million for the first quarter of 2004."
Atmel Corporation (Nasdaq:ATML) announced Wednesday it is building on the recently announced Z-Link product. The company is pleased to announce, "it has reached an agreement with wireless software leader, Figure 8 Wireless, Inc., to integrate Figure 8's ZigBee(tm) protocol software with Atmel's 802.15.4 compliant Z-Link chip set. The two companies will bring this complete solution to the emerging ZigBee market for cost effective, wireless, low data rate products. ABI Research forecasts that shipments for the ZigBee market could exceed 80 million units worldwide by the end of 2006(1)."
BEA Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:BEAS), announced Wednesday, "it is scheduled to host a Portal Lifecycle Management Webinar where experts from BEA and MobileAware will show attendees the latest strategies for achieving optimum results from enterprise portals. BEA WebLogic Portal(tm) with Portal Lifecycle Management is designed to continue improving and maintaining customer satisfaction by providing them with increased productivity -- helping to deliver portals in weeks, not months."
