Kemira GrowHow acquired Lithuanian UAB Kemira Lifosa

UAB Kemira Lifosa produces special fertilisers and its main market areas are Baltic countries, Poland, Hungary, Germany and Russia. The company was founded in 1997. Kemira GrowHow has earlier owned 51 % and AB Lifosa 49 % of UAB Kemira Lifosa.

 

"UAB Kemira Lifosa's production is important to us because Kemira GrowHow wants to build and develop its special fertilisers' marketing and distribution network in Baltic countries and in Eastern Middle Europe", says Olavi Määttä, Executive Vice President, Kemira GrowHow.

The purchase doesn't directly affect to UAB Kemira Lifosa's operational activities because Kemira GrowHow has already previously been responsible for marketing of all the products. Also the situation of the personnel stays unchanged.
