Dr. Atkins wrote the forward of her book, "Lose Weight Forever."
Dr. Vital, with her extensive expertise in endocrinology, metabolism, geriatrics, nutrition, and womens' health issues, speaks on these subjects throughout the world, treats patients from offices in her native Brazil (Rio De Janeiro and Niteroi), the United States (Woodmere, New York), and Portugal. Dr. Vital is widely published, including several books on her various subjects of expertise, her most recent being "Lose Weight Forever," which employs her modified low carbohydrate diet and nutrition platform focusing on a diet replacing refined carbohydrates with low-glycemic carbohydrates.
