Structures USA (Pink Sheets:STUS), Sierra Wireless (Nasdaq:SWIR) and Forbes Medi-Tech Inc. (TSX Venture Exchange:FMI) (Nasdaq:FMTI)
Investors may want to swing over and check out a recently publicly traded company called Structures USA (Pink Sheets:STUS). Structures USA announced on Wednesday after the closing bell that it has "developed a new type of concrete called GigaCrete that is much lighter than conventional concrete and is made into a panelized building system. The panels can be rapidly erected by hand without the use of cranes and are used for floors, walls and roofs. 'Structures' is currently undergoing code approvals and recently became a publicly traded Company (STUS) on the stock exchange and expects rapid growth over the next few years and well into the future." STUS is currently trading between .60 -- .65 a share.
On the Nasdaq, Forbes Medi-Tech Inc. (TSX Venture Exchange:FMI) (Nasdaq:FMTI) announced on Wednesday that, "It has secured a sterols sales agreement for US$24.4 million over a three-year period beginning in January 2005. This new customer agreement is between Forbes' manufacturing joint venture, Phyto-Source LP, and a leading multinational ingredient company. For contractual reasons, the identity of the new customer and contractual terms and conditions, will not be disclosed."
Sierra Wireless (Nasdaq:SWIR) (TSX Venture Exchange:SW) announced on Wednesday that, "Its cooperation with INTEL CORP. (Nasdaq:INTC) to deliver integrated wireless connectivity solutions to mobile professionals worldwide. The agreement will see the two companies collaborate in several initiatives to develop and promote integration in wireless local area networking (WLAN) and wireless wide area networking (WWAN) to provide a better user experience."
