STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Sept. 14, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Hurricanes Charley and Frances have rampaged Florida and hurricane Ivan is quickly approaching from the Caribbean. Damage from the first two hurricanes has been extensive and Ivan is expected to bring more devastation to Florida, Alabama and Mississippi.
Munters restoration teams have been very instrumental in assisting in the recovery of several hospitals and have been relied upon to restore damage at the Orlando International Airport. In addition they have been involved with several hotels, resorts and malls in the area. Many sites had just been dried when Frances came ashore and were impacted again. Many suffered additional water damage. About 200 people are working on Munters catastrophe team of which the majority are local laborers.
"The situation is extremely demanding and new projects come in daily. Equipment is staged in several areas to respond as quickly as possible. The anticipated orders from the hurricanes Charley and Frances will be approximately $5 million dollars.
