STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Sept. 20, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Gunnebo, the international security group, has signed an exclusive agreement regarding distribution of Austrian Novotech Banksysteme GmbH's newly patented high-speed self-service coin deposit system for the banking segment (the Austrian market is excluded in the agreement).
The coin deposit system will be marketed under the name SafeCoin C and will fit well with the existing range of automation products for cash handling within the Gunnebo Group. The revolutionary new technology with SafeCoin C is the vertical coin conveying and laser coin-scanning that is being used for coin recognition, which allows the machine to attain very high reliability in coin recognition and foreign object detection.
