DEL MAR, Oct. 4, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Homeland Security Technology, Inc (Pink Sheets:HSTJ) announced today that the joint venture formed with Recon Mountaineer, LLC. has been awarded an order to supply Combat Trauma Bags to the US Armed Forces totaling $316,000. Shipment is scheduled for the 4th quarter of 2004.

"We are continuing to expand horizons as the Combat Trauma Bag is introduced to more and more military units ranging from the platoon to the battalion level," conclued Mr. Mlynek.
