News Alert -- Pink Sheets: VYON; MicroTech Trader Featured Company Viyya Technologies (VYON) Unveils Marketing Plans

DALLAS, Oct. 7, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- MicroTech Trader, a leading source of news and information about small cap technology companies, reports on featured company Viyya Technologies, Inc. (Pink Sheets:VYON), developer of the world's most advanced, web-based information management software.

Viyya (www.viyya.com) announced this week that it is beta testing its new technology, XCavator(TM), with a number of publicly traded and private businesses. XCavator(TM) is the patent-pending tool that provides the functionality for the unique ability of VIYYA's(TM) "Virtual Internet Assistant" to "read" the Internet much like the human mind does.

The company reports that initial feedback from beta test subjects confirms both consumer and business Internet users as strong potential markets for the VIYYA(TM) "Virtual Internet Assistant." VIYYA(TM) software will be offered through uniquely positioned, value-add portal companies, ISPs, cable providers, and device manufacturers. The product also will be marketed to corporate technology officers, so that it may be available to corporate end users as part of their companies' enterprise-wide software applications. In addition, the company plans to launch a consumer-direct sales program for individual end-users.

The news comes only two days after Viyya announced the hire of marketing executive Victor Bakunoff as vice president of marketing. "Victor has been able to leverage his industry experience and relationships to create tremendous (sales) opportunities," said Viyya CEO John Bay in a recent press release.

Viyya's "Virtual Internet Assistant" product suite will perform as the ultimate manager of data from all web-based sources by fully automating the process of collecting, processing, delivering and storing data relevant to the user. It allows user-personalization and customization of retrieved Internet information, expedites daily research, and provides scheduled and automated analysis of multiple web locations. Captured data is displayed and saved in styles convenient to the user's lifestyle or daily routine, and then stored for future search and retrieval as the user directs. This feature combination does not exist in any other product on the market today.

Software companies such as Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) and Oracle (Nasdaq: ORCL) have proven that their stocks drive the technology sector; and VYON could be poised for similar market acceptance. Shares of VYON closed Thursday at $0.18, up $0.01 or more than 5 percent in three days of trading, and could maintain their upward trend as the company continues to implement its marketing strategies. The stock also has enjoyed good volume in recent days, suggesting that it is attracting investors at this price level.

MicroTech Trader's other "stocks to watch" this week include: Airbee Wireless, Inc. (Pink Sheets: ABEW), an innovator of intelligent software for wireless voice, data and video communications; and Global Vision Holdings, Inc. (Pink Sheets: GVHL), a developer and global wholesale marketer of next-generation, prepaid financial service products.
