Lapis Technologies, Inc. Successfully Installs Its First ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) For The Arrow Missile At Boeing, Generating Several Hundred Thousand Dollars In Revenue


NEW YORK, Oct. 14, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Enertec Systems 2001, Inc., a majority owned affiliate company of Lapis Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB:LPST), today announced that it has successfully completed the ATE installation at the Boeing plant for the production and final testing of the Stage II of the Arrow Missile. Enertec Systems 2001 Inc. installed the system at Boeing's headquarters and, in addition, conducted on-site training at Boeing in the U.S.

Enertec Systems 2001, Inc. is a major supplier of ATE and support systems for the Arrow program, many of which go to the Israeli Aircraft Industry (IAI). The systems are used during the phases of design, verification, prototype testing, final testing, qualification, production and field testing as well as periodic maintenance. The ATE plays an important role in the manufacturing of the Missile, with its extensive in depth testing capabilities of the Missiles' various modules.
