Raven Moon to Launch 'Gina D's Reading Across America Program'

Gina D's 'RAAP' Sessions will Support Local Libraries

ORLANDO, Fla., Oct. 21, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Raven Moon Entertainment, Inc. (OTCBB:RVNM) is pleased to announce that it will launch a series of Gina D's RAAP sessions to support local libraries and encourage parents to read at least one book per week to their pre-school children. RAAP stands for Reading Across America Program. Gina D is the host of the newly launched, syndicated educational children's series Gina D's Kids Club.

Inspired by the lyrics of a Gina D learning song, "If you really want to learn how to really, really read you've got to learn your ABC's," Gina D will read a story called "A Dinosaur Named Blue" for a group of children and their parents at local libraries around the nation. At the end of each session, parents will be asked to sign a contract with their own child to read at least one book a week to them.

Raven Moon Entertainment will be publishing a new children's book entitled A Dinosaur Named Blue, and will be offering the book to children who participate in the RAAP Program.

"We are encouraging local libraries, State Legislators, educational leaders, parents, and teachers from all communities to participate in this revolutionary program. For the first time, we are asking parents to commit to their children in writing that they will read at least one book per week with them. We believe that this commitment will help bring families together and help this nation focus its priorities on education," stated Dr. Jan Battenberg, Educational Advisor and Director, Raven Moon.

In December, Emmy Award winning executive producers Joey and Bernadette DiFrancesco will be producing a new one-hour Gina D's Kids Club educational television Special called "Journey To The Land of Dinosaurs" and an animated Public Service Announcement that will feature a new animated character called "Dinosaur Blue." "Dinosaur Blue" along with Gina D will encourage parents to read to their pre-school children. The end tag will say: "This message to READ is brought to you by your local library, Gina D, and this station."

"We believe that the Gina D's RAAP Sessions will inspire parents across the country to help their children in their formative years to appreciate reading," stated Bernadette DiFrancesco, VP and Executive producer at Raven Moon. "We are pleased that we have already garnered interest from several cities in hosting these events to support their local library."

Raven Moon plans to ask educators, television stations and corporations across America to support this effort as part of their ongoing mission to provide valuable supporting programs for their educational television programming anchored by Gina D's Kids Club.
