VARNAMO, Sweden, Oct. 28, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Finnveden:
-- Net sales amounted to SEK 3,613 M (3,450) for the first nine months,
representing an 8% increase for comparable units. For the third
quarter net sales increased by 5 % to SEK 1,069 M (1,021).
-- Operating income amounted to SEK 232 M (143) for the first nine
months, representing a 62% increase, of which the third quarter
accounted for SEK 49 M (30), an increase by 63%.
-- Profit before tax amounted to SEK 197 M (88) for the first nine
months and to SEK 38 M (13) for the third quarter.
-- Profit after tax amounted to SEK 142 M (64) for the first nine months
and to SEK 30 M (10) for the third quarter.
-- Earnings per share amounted to SEK 5.35 (2.40), of which SEK 1.13
(0.38) in the third quarter.
