BALTIMORE, Dec. 7, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- View Systems, Inc. (OTCBB:VYST), a front-line security and surveillance company, today announced that The Colorado Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Youth Services Correction Facility has chosen the SecureScan as the weapons detection system for its new secure entrance.
Correctional Officer H. Bauer said: "As the largest state operated youth correctional facility in Colorado (with nearly 200 visitors on a weekend), this system is a great fit for our new, more secure lobby operations. We needed a system with better discrimination and this product has it. It allows us increased safety without increased personnel."
Three years ago, the SecureScan was chosen by Arapahoe County courthouse officials for installation in multiple courthouse locations around the county. Last year, Boulder County officials also chose SecureScan for its lobby location in the new Boulder County Justice Center.
The Company feels the initial order by the Colorado facility will provide credibility as View aggressively pursues expansion into this market. View Systems has recently entered a bid for 11 SecureScan Portals at a correctional facility in the state of New York.
