High Energy Lighting Explodes! 87% Growth On-Line

Now Launching New Spanish Language Website

HOUSTON, Dec. 16, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Web mail-order guru, Brent Green, President, High Energy Lighting, Inc., (HEL) conducts his successful Houston based business through website sales at www.CheapLights.com, and a 68-page lighting and sound equipment catalog. When the website went on line in 1997, HEL experienced an 87% explosion of on-line sales and has continued to grow at an estimated 30% each year thereafter.

To increase market share, HEL has now targeted the Hispanic community through a new Spanish language web site www.lucesysonidodj.com and a Spanish billboard advertising campaign that will be implemented the first week of December. The new site will mirror www.CheapLights.com and will be operated by its bi-lingual sales staff.

HEL grossed under $10,000 its first year and will close its fiscal year at the end of December 2004 with an estimated $3 million in earnings. With the inclusion of the Hispanic market, projections for 2005 are set at well over $5 million.

Mr. Green is aware that price, low overhead, low shipping costs, faster service and an experienced, knowledgeable, bi-lingual management and sales force are contributing factors to his successful formula. With a total of 31,000 sq ft, HEL maintains of one of the largest DJ equipment warehouses in the U.S.

Operating out of cost effective warehouse space, HEL serves over 17,000 customers worldwide. The customer base includes mobile DJ's, teenagers, night clubs, bands, churches and schools along with a new audience, the "Party at Home" crowd, who now contributes an average sale in the $100-$5000+ range to HELS' bottom line. A big plus for customers, HEL handles all of its own warranty repairs and returns.

Green's lighting and sound career started at the age of 12 when he was frequently asked to fill-in as a DJ for his dad at station KVET Austin. Green earned his high school spending money by performing DJ services at school dances, private parties and nightclubs.

A skilled marketer and businessman, Green segued his avocation into a successful mail order business. The company began in 1974 when Green manufactured lights for the rental market. It went national in 1987 when display ads were purchased in trade publications across the nation. During this time frame, Green carved out a niche in the area of low to mid-range price points for the newest styles of high quality, low cost, DJ equipment.

Some of the items appearing in the product line-up are manufactured by HEL along with all of the fluids for the fog, bubble, and snow machines that are sold under their private label to many of the leading music stores and distributors.
