As VP Marketing, Alan Atkinson is responsible for creating and executing marketing and communications programs to establish market dominance and generate targeted revenues. He will also provide support to the sales organization to facilitate the sales process.
Prior to joining Bulldog Atkinson held various management positions, including Vice President Marketing for WindDance Networks, Coventus Intuitive Networks and N-able Technologies. Alan has also held the position of Director, International Marketing at Corel Corporation as well as heading up the Marketing activities for the Computer Telephony Product group at Mitel Corporation. Before being relocated back to Canada by Mitel, Alan held various pan-European product and channel marketing positions with Digital Equipment Corporation at their European Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.
Alan has extensive strategic and tactical high-tech marketing experience related to product marketing, channel marketing, brand management, public relations, corporate communications and product management. Alan holds a BSc from The University of Western Ontario, a BAdmin from Brock University and an MBA from European University in Switzerland.
