Compete For Cool Prizes In The First Ever Global Tournament!
Espoo, Finland - Dec. 21, 2004. Nokia today announced the first ever global online tournament for the N-Gage Arena with the Pocket Kingdom: Own the W0rld Challenge. Over three-months, tournament players from Europe, Africa, Asia-Pacific and the Americas will engage in fierce battle for the ownership of the W0rld.
Starting immediately, players can register for the tournament on http://arena.n-gage.com. Tournament registrations will be accepted until the end of the Qualifier Month, which runs from January 1st to February 1st 2005. During this month, players will battle with their kingdoms to be ranked on the "Monthly Owner" ranking board.
At the end of the Qualifier Month, the top twenty players from the three regional leader boards will move onto the Finals Month (February 1st to March 1st, 2005) and out of those players top three will be rewarded authentic shields hand painted with the N-Gage Arena and Pocket Kingdom logos. The top three Regional Champions and the Tournament Champion will win a full suit of wearable armor and champion trophies for their N-Gage Arena profile page. In addition, the Tournament Champion will be interviewed for the N-Gage Arena and will be heralded as the "Owner of the W0rld" on www.n-gage.com.
Winners will be announced March 10, 2005.
