STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Jan. 26, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Anna Karin Kallen has been recruited to the position of Vice President of Communications at Biovitrum. Anna Karin will be a member of the senior management team and will report directly to CEO Mats Pettersson. She will assume the post on April 4, 2005.
"With her thorough expertise and experience of strategic communications, Anna Karin Kallen will add significant value to the senior management team," says CEO Mats Pettersson.
Anna Karin has worked for many years as a senior consultant at Hallvarsson & Halvarsson, a communications company, in which she is a senior partner. She has previously held senior communication positions at leading listed Swedish companies. She has been an expert advisor at the Swedish Ministry of Industry, Employment and Communication, has worked as a journalist at the Swedish financial magazine Affarsvarlden and prior to that was a management consultant at Bain & Co. in London and Boston.
Anna Karin is a graduate economist from the Stockholm School of Economics and has a Master of Business Administration degree from IMEDE in Switzerland.
