MALMO, Sweden, Jan. 31, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- AudioDev: (Figures in brackets relate to the period in 2003).
AudioDev's Board announced today that the demand for test equipment for recordable DVD (DVD-R/RW) has continued to be weak in Q4, 2004. This drop has not been able to be compensated by sales in testers for premastered DVDs and as a consequence sales for Q4 are expected to be around SEK 45 (58.4) million, with profits after financial items at around SEK -7 (7.4) million. For the full year of 2004, sales are estimated to be around SEK 275 (273.0) million and profits after financial items around SEK 41 (54.2) million.
As previously announced Christer Sjostrom has been appointed as the new CEO in AudioDev. He will take up office on February 1, 2005.
