SEATTLE, Feb. 1, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Reeltime Rentals, Inc., (Pink Sheets:RLTR) announced that the Company has begun internal testing of its Phase III Beta Version of the Rental-On-Demand Client in preparation for adding selected public testers toward the end of February 2005. Potential testers can register online at ReelTime's website www.reeltimetv.net. Testers will be selected randomly from a broad base of applicants to ensure a range of locations and system requirements to address compatibility and stability issues.
The objective of this phase of testing is to confirm the company's systems are functioning as intended end-to-end, and validate the IRDS infrastructure in North America. Servers will be load tested and software proofed for stability. This process will allow ReelTime to verify the high level of quality that our original testers have experienced, and our growing fan-base is expecting.
In North America, distributed Super-Node systems will be responsible for handling customer requests and maintaining a high level of service. This regionalized testing will provide the base launching point for future roll-outs in overseas markets.
